Happy Summer!
Just thought I would touch bases with everyone! We have seen folks come and go over the summer and it is great to see everyone, so active. Some are traveling as far as France. Others are traveling to Florida. Some are traveling to and from Yreka and some are staying close to home. You never know where somebody is going to be???????
Kirk,Alex,Abigail and myself are staying busy, too! Kirk just finished up on the Sim's Fire in June, so now he is working around the church property and our house.
He is even setting up meetings with folks here and there to keep everyone in the loop.
Alex has been busy with helping Kirk brush and mow the church property. He helped me organize a two week yard sale at our church property and helped three kids, including himself, make it to our youth camp, Lake Bradley in Bandon, OR. (His Uncle works there, so he is excited to go and see him and introduce his friends to him, also.)
Alex has also been helping at home with his chores. He has managed to have some fun with his friends between his work schedules. He has been rafting, swimming, go karting, miniature golfing, and even working for one of his friend's dad to earn money to another camp, next year. He's growing up and things are heading more toward the adult side.
Abigail has been just as busy! Brushing, mowing, yard sale prepping, keeping up with chores at home and her friends, too. She will be joining Alex at camp, this year, along with one of her friends, too. She also was able to go rafting, swimming, go karting, miniature golfing, and earning money, too. She is an awesome pet & babysitter.
Me... I keep up with all of them! I am the phelgmatist behind the scenes that keeps it all going. I am taking a Six Week On-line course to continue with my goal of achieving my Associate of Arts Degree. I hope to obtain a Bachelor's Degree, one day, as well. I have enjoyed relaxing, rafting, swimming, reading, attending some bible studies and organic gardening. Our family is going to do the open events at the fair. It will be nice to relax and enjoy Fair, this year. Animals are great, but so is the expense. Our dogs and one cat have given me plenty to keep do!
Well, I pray all is well with everyone and have a blessed rest of the Summer of 2009!

It's a Happy Day and I thank God for the Weather!..(and everything else.)
Well, here we are with rain coming and Spring around the corner. The waterfalls and rock slides season will begin in Happy Camp, but it will be just beautiful!
I also want to thank all of our family and friends for such wonderful birthday greetings, cards, phone calls and blessings. They are all so special and I really felt appreciated and loved!
I got a birthday wishes from Hawaii, China, and even brother called! Wow! He is really hard to get ahold of and is constantly busy, but cared enough to call after setting up a High School Rodeo!
I also realized that I share my birthday with two other people in and around Happy Camp! What a cool thing! Happy Birthday, Dorrie MacDonald, my neighbor, and Hans Magarian in Somes!
Well, I was spoiled by my family, yesterday! A french toast breakfast w/ eggs and hashbrowns.
My laundry folded and put away, Abigail made me a cake, Alex fixed me dinner. What a cool day! To top it all off a banner and a really strange skit was shown to me. Definately, not Hollywood material, but possibly... someday...??? It's the thought that counts! Ha! Ha!
Anyhow, thanks again everybody for making it a wonderful day! Blessings on you all!
